Meet Dr. Neibaur

Samuel Neibaur, D.O. is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in surgery of the hand and elbow, including microvascular reconstruction. Dr. Neibaur joined ONE in 2025. Dr. Neibaur was born and raised in a small town in Idaho, where he worked on his family’s farm, played basketball, soccer, and swam competitively. The physicality of both manual labor and competitive sports in his life molded his drive and compassion when it comes to keeping his patients active and healthy. He met and married his wife while

completing his undergraduate degree from BYU-Idaho. After graduating in the top 10 in his class for medical school at Touro University Nevada, he served as Chief Resident during his orthopedic surgery residency in Metro-Detroit. During that time, he had the opportunity to treat many traumatic hand injuries, where he developed a passion for the intricacies that each case entails. Dr. Neibaur completed his Hand & Upper Extremity

fellowship at UPMC-Hamot, where he had the unique experience of working with both Plastic and Pediatric Hand Surgeons. He was involved in soft tissue and microvascular reconstruction cases, as well as treated many congenital and pediatric hand conditions.

Dr. Neibaur enjoys participating in national conferences where he learns with and collaborates with world-renowned surgeons. He is a member of American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and America Association for Hand Surgery (AAHS). Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his wife and three kids, playing pickleball, and

being a foodie.
