Advanced Practitioners

For over 30 years, ONE’s Advanced Practitioners have been an integral part of providing high-quality orthopaedic care to our patients and the communities we serve. Our Physician Assistants (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are nationally certified and state-licensed medical professionals who work closely with our orthopedic physicians as part of an integrated care team.

The role of our Advanced Practitioners extends throughout the patient’s orthopedic journey. They provide care in the office, hospital, and emergency department, assist our physicians in surgery, evaluate and treat injuries, develop and manage treatment plans, and help guide patients through their recovery. Their expertise and close collaboration with our physicians allow us to provide comprehensive, personalized care to our patients.

As ONE has grown, so has our Advanced Practitioner team. Today, our PAs and NPs play an essential role in delivering compassionate, accessible, and high-quality orthopedic care to our patients at every stage of treatment.

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists:

CRNAs (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists) and CAAs (Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants) are highly trained anesthesia professionals who specialize in providing anesthesia care for our surgical patients before, during, and after their procedures. ONE has been a pioneer in working with CRNAs for the last 20 years and is proud to have a dedicated team of anesthesia professionals focused on providing safe, compassionate patient care.

The role of our CRNAs and CAAs is to provide anesthesia care throughout the surgical experience. They administer medications to keep patients comfortable, pain-free, and appropriately anesthetized during surgery while continuously monitoring vital signs and the patient's response to anesthesia to promote safety throughout the procedure. They also help prepare patients for anesthesia before surgery and monitor their recovery afterward.

Together with our surgeons and surgical team, our anesthesia professionals play an essential role in ensuring that every patient receives safe, personalized, and compassionate care before, during, and after surgery.
