Dr. Andersen, a proud Hoosier, joined ONE in 2025 with a focus on sports medicine. His specialties include knee and shoulder arthroscopy, cartilage restoration, and shoulder arthroplasty. Driven by a passion for helping people get back to the activities they love, he finds the greatest reward in supporting patients—whether young athletes or weekend warriors—as they pursue their goals and stay active.

Dr. Andersen was born in Fort Wayne and raised in Greenwood, Indiana. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and went on to attend medical school at Marian University. He completed his residency at Michigan State University, followed by a fellowship in arthroscopic and sports medicine surgery at the University of Massachusetts.

He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine. He has provided care as a team physician for the Boston Red Sox as well as various other high school and collegiate teams.

In his free time, Dr. Andersen enjoys adventuring with his wife and three children, spending time outdoors, and playing or watching sports.
