Dr. Danias joined the TraumaONE team in 2018 after completing his fellowship in orthopedic trauma at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.  He specializes in adult and pediatric trauma, non-union repair, limb deformity correction and joint replacement surgery.  Dr. Danias chose orthopedic trauma as his sub-specialty because he wanted to have the opportunity to treat traumatically injured patients and manage complex fractures. He truly enjoys having the privilege of participating in the care of a patient from the moment of their traumatic accident or injury, helping guide them through their treatment and recovery process, and hopefully allowing them to achieve all of their recovery goals.

Dr. Danias grew up in in Durand, Michigan, which made Michigan State University an easy choice. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, he went on to study at Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.  From there, he went on to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery at McLaren Macomb Hospital, followed by a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at Miami Valley Hospital through Wright State University.

In his spare time he enjoys sports, traveling, riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, and Michigan State football and basketball. He also loves to do home improvement projects and work on cars.
