Dr. Sean Karr, joined Ortho NorthEast as a member of the Foot&AnkleONE team in 2021, practicing alongside his father, Dr. Scott Karr.  Dr. Sean Karr specializes in complex foot and ankle reconstruction as well as total ankle replacements.

Dr. Karr was raised in Fort Wayne, where he attended Canterbury High School and played soccer, basketball and golf.  His interest in orthopedic surgery in the area of foot and ankle began as a young athlete and grew during his summers spent as an orthopaedic casting technician.  He attended Indiana University School of Medicine followed by his orthopedic residency at the Banner University Medical Center of Phoenix.  After completing his residency he completed his fellowship in foot and ankle surgery in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Karr is passionate about Orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery because he knows how debilitating that injuries to the foot and ankle can be.  He enjoys being able to reconstruct and improve these conditions, getting people back to their independent lives. These surgical practices and techniques are constantly improving and Dr. Karr is committed to using the best and most up to date technologies to continue to positively impact his patients.

In his spare time, he loves spending time with family, playing soccer and basketball, mountain biking, hiking, and skiing.
