Meet Dr. Eggebrecht
Dr. Eggebrecht joined the TraumaONE team in 2025 after completing his orthopedic trauma fellowship at Washington University’s Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He specializes in adult and pediatric trauma, non-union repair, limb salvage surgery, and limb deformity correction.
Drawn to the field of orthopaedic trauma for its complexity and the wide variety of fracture types and locations, Dr. Eggebrecht is particularly interested in the challenge of reconstructing difficult injuries. He is deeply committed to helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life after serious musculoskeletal trauma.
Dr Eggebrecht grew up in Fort Wayne and is a true “Hoosier” completing both undergraduate education and medical school at Indiana University. He stuck to his Midwest roots, completing orthopedic surgery residency at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio followed by orthopedic trauma fellowship training at Washington University Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
In his spare time, he enjoys sports, lake activities, rock concerts, playing soccer, and cheering on the Chicago Bears and Indiana Hoosier football & basketball.
